Information You Submit
Entries made in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, are sent to the outside provider that supplies the result service. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we use the information in your message only to answer it.
Automatically Collected Technical Data
Hosting records routine technical logs, including an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and access time. We review aggregate information to maintain the service and understand general page use. Cookies or related tools can support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Technical Information Is Used
The limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content maintenance. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Henrietta pages link to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and outside search tools. A linked organization’s privacy policy controls information submitted on its service. That includes sponsored results provided by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosts and support providers process necessary server-log information for the service. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the technical data described above. Information is disclosed where valid legal process requires disclosure and not for unrelated purposes.
Safeguards and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no site accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles stored by Henrietta Residents Directory.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent information so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal data a service retains. As of August 29, 2026, the project research did not identify an enacted comprehensive New York consumer-privacy opt-out statute. Because we retain very little, a request normally means reviewing the contact mailbox and available logs, then removing information we find. Use the Contact page. Public records controlled by New York, Monroe County, or Henrietta custodians must be addressed to that custodian.
Policy Revisions
Changes to this policy will appear here. Continued use after a posted revision indicates acceptance of the new version.
